Plant Nursery

Our nursery at the FOTA farm is currently mainly focused on producing Organic Certified Hass avocado, Passionfruit, Tree Tomato and chili plants.

These crops are planted on our own FOTA farm, as well as distributed to our local partners and cooperatives in the 4 corners of Burundi.

Nectares from nature 

In addition to passion fruit, we also grow tree tomatoes, Hass avocados, Chili and and more.

"Banana bark can also be used as seedling pots"

At Ecodiverse, we try as much as possible to use materials localy available. In the case of our plant nursery, we have seedling pots made from banana bark.

This makes it possible to plant the seedling including the pot directly in the ground, as well as generating a more income for the local community producing the pots.
