Green transition and forecast
At Ecodiverse we are preparing to install solar panels for the first 30 kwh, which will power our water pumps for the irrigation system, as well as cover our needs for operating our electrical facilities.
The solar plant is expected to be in use in July 2024

Forecast

Cold chain for the processing of fruit and vegetables.
Our forecast for 2025 at Ecodiverse is to establish processing facilities based on renewable energy in order to handle and process fruit and vegetables for our regional partners and cooperatives. We expect a further extensive installation of 100% renewable energy from the sun (solar panels), wind (wind turbines) and our local river "Kaniga" (hydropower).
This synergistic or hybrid utilization of the 3 elements can help ensure a continuous supply of clean energy to our systems and charge our batteries for battery autonomy needs.
If there is no sun, our energy supply can be provided by either wind turbines or hydropower.
The accumulation of this continuous energy will allow us to create a cold chain, which is a temperature-controlled supply chain consisting of refrigerated production, storage and distribution facilities supported by equipment that can constantly maintain the required low temperature range.
